Fresh or dried (out of season), it is recommended to eat 2 tablespoons morning and evening. “This allows for a marked improvement in blood circulation. Blackcurrant reduces the permeability of small blood vessels and tones the veins,” explains Henry Puget, author of The Encyclopedia of Grandmother’s Remedies.
Cocoa contains flavanols, a powerful antioxidant. To reap its benefits, it is recommended to consume one or two squares of dark chocolate per day, the higher the cocoa content possible.
